Google will help Android users better distinguish between work and life | XFastest News

The Google Work Profile tool for the Android platform can help users hide work applications and data, so as to ensure that your personal mobile phone is not affected by the company in daily use. According to an article recently published by Google, this feature is currently limited to mobile phones managed by the company, but Google will provide it to users who use Google WorkSpace in 2022.

Google said that this feature will be further extended to all Android phones in the future, users only need to click a button, all the company-related commercial applications will disappear.

The ability to shut down work is very much needed for many people who work remotely. Itā€™s nice to see Google provide its software to more people, because although having two phones can really distinguish work/life better, itā€™s not practical for most people (and to be honest, it may be a bit of a headache) .

Google also said that it is working with identity and single sign-on providers Ping, Okta, and Forgerock to improve the security of users when accessing its company content. The company hopes to allow users to authenticate in its custom labeling system instead of WebView, making the employee experience faster and allowing vendors such as Okta to access more mobile security information.
