TEL AVIV — A long column of trucks containing bales of medicines with the Qatari flag on them crossed the Israeli border crossing in Kerem Shalom to enter to Gaza. The delivery of the material came after weeks of intense diplomatic negotiations thanks to mediation carried out by the emirate and France. Medicines, bandages and medical supplies are directed to the population of Gaza: but also – and this is the reason why Israel accepted – to those of the 136 hostages in the hands of Hamas who need them most.
