The first fines for the lack of checks and green passes arrive in the province of Modena thanks to an initiative of the Anti-Sophistication Units of the Carabinieri. In a broader operation at national level, the specialized group of the Arma has in fact verified the situation in some commercial activities in the Modenese area. And among these there is also a gym in Vignola. The operators have accessed it in recent days to assess whether everything was in compliance with the anti-Covid regulations, but above all if the legislation related to the green pass and verification had already been applied. Therefore, first of all, the presence of the application was certified to check user data and then those data were cross-referenced with the customers present inside the indoor structure. It immediately emerged that a sportsman was not in possession of the green certificate, and a penalty of 400 euros was imposed on him for non-compliance with the provision; the gym manager will also have to pay a similar amount: he has been accused of the failure to control the access of the customer who has not yet been vaccinated.
Two weeks after the start of the green pass system, therefore, the first fines begin to arrive in the province of Modena as well. But how will the activities be organized in view of the most intense phase of the controls? In recent days, the institutions, starting with the Prefecture, have examined the rules envisaged by the decree, and in particular their application in the various economic activities. As for the operational phase, it is likely that coordinated controls at the provincial level will start as early as next weekend: a new meeting of the Provincial Committee for public order and safety is scheduled for Monday, convened precisely to address the issue. green pass. “In recent days we have made a series of assessments – confirms the prefect of Modena Alessandra Camporota – and on Monday, in the Committee for public order, we will discuss with the institutions and the police and we will evaluate how to start the campaign of checks “.
A campaign that will start in the next few days, therefore, and that will lead to a series of checks on the application of the rules by commercial businesses. The decree that came into force on 6 August in fact provides for the need to show the green pass for those who consume in bars and restaurants (but not at the counter), but also for access to sporting events, fairs, congresses, museums , theme and amusement parks, spas, bingo halls and casinos, theaters, cinemas and concerts, as well as in swimming pools, gyms and team sports, limited to indoor activities.
