She risked being raped as she exited a gym early in the morning. She managed to get rid of the maniac, however, she was robbed. An intense morning that of a man who, not satisfied, then attacked and robbed a second woman. It happened in North Rome, in the Due Ponti area. It was then the policemen who reconstructed the incident and arrested a 31-year-old Italian citizen for robbery and sexual violence.
In particular, the policemen, while on duty in civilian clothes in via Cassia, noticed a suspicious individual and heard a note of research relating to a young man who had just been responsible for robbery against a woman, promptly stopped him and proceeded to personal search, finding a wallet, objects, documents and credit cards belonging to the woman just robbed. At the same time, they learned of another crime against another woman allegedly perpetrated by the same man, which took place a few hundred meters from the place where the individual was arrested.
The attempted rape on leaving the gym
The latter, in the context of the complaint, reported that while she was intent on returning to her home after being in the gym, she was confronted by a young man who after opening the door of the car where she had just entered, groped in the private parts, trying at the same time to take off the leggings she wore while masturbating with the other hand, but given the lady’s reaction, he disappeared after robbing her bag. During the complaint, the woman was subjected to photographic identification where she recognized without a shadow of a doubt in the arrested person, the author of the robbery and rape.
The investigators then reconstructed the facts that began at 7:55 on Monday morning, in the parking lot of a gym, in via Ischia di Castro, where the 31-year-old groped violently and tried to tear off the first woman’s leggings, then robbing her. of the bag and then run away.

At 08.20 in via Vallinfredda, the man followed and immediately robbed the second woman, stealing her bag and dragging her to the ground and then fleeing; at 08.30 the policemen identified and arrested the man.
