Four Afternoons of Free Tetanus Vaccination Offered in Forlì
Forlì residents are being encouraged to protect themselves from tetanus with a series of free vaccination clinics being held over four afternoons in March and April. The Hygiene and Public Health Operational Unit of Forlì-Cesena has organized the clinics, which will take place on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th March, as well as Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th April, from 2pm to 4pm at the Vallisneri Pavilion of the “Morgagni-Pierantoni” hospital in Forlì.
The invitation is extended to individuals who have never been vaccinated for tetanus or who have not received a booster dose in more than 10 years. Tetanus is a serious bacterial infection that can be contracted through simple wounds like a rose thorn prick, making vaccination especially important as spring approaches and outdoor activities increase.
Those interested in receiving the vaccine outside of the scheduled clinics can book appointments through the Cup e Cup telephone service at 800002255. Additionally, vaccination statuses can be verified on the Electronic Health Record or requested via email at [email protected].
Don’t wait until it’s too late – take advantage of this opportunity to protect yourself and your loved ones from tetanus by getting vaccinated at one of these upcoming clinics in Forlì. Stay safe and enjoy the outdoors this spring!
