The first fruits of the Honda-Sony agreement last March arrive: they will sell electric cars together as early as 2025. All with the strategy already announced: Honda will bring its experience in construction and sale of automobiles and Sony will add its software and technology expertise.

Each company will invest 5 billion yen (about 35 million euros) in the joint venture. But in addition to the significant financial commitment, the roles are also beginning to be defined: Yasuhide Mizunoa senior Honda executive, will serve as CEO of the joint venture, and Izumi KawanishiSony’s executive vice president, will serve as president and chief operating officer.
