More and more brands are using Dassault Systèmes’ 3DExperience platform to develop prototypes. The benefits of 3D virtual environments are many: virtual twins can be created from real-world experiences. So now, among the 300,000 customers of all sizes and in all industrial sectors, also comes Hopium, the French car manufacturer that uses it to design and develop the first prototypes of its high-end hydrogen-powered vehicle, the Hopium Machina.

Inspired by the professional experience of Olivier Lombard, the youngest winner of the 24h of Le Mans competition, Hopium Machina combines cutting-edge design, exceptional range and record filling time in a high-performance, zero-emission vehicle. The integrated fuel cell system generates the energy needed to power the vehicle by emitting only water. It can be fully recharged in three minutes to deliver more than 500 horsepower, reach speeds of 230 km / h (143 mph) and travel more than 1,000 km (620 miles).
