City Connection announced today (12) that it will launch a collection of classic heterochromatic shooting games on Steam and Nintendo Switch on October 28th, “Baofang Tengu & ZOMBIE NATION” at a price of 1,200 yen.

“Baofang Tengu” was launched on the Nintendo Red and White machine in December 1990. It features a tengu mask as the protagonist. It was produced and composed by Keno Nakagata, who had participated in the development of “Genpei Tomoden”. It uses “Tengu Mask from Japan”. The unique story setting of “Rescue America, which is on the verge of extinction from the attack of evil creatures” Players will operate the flying Tengu mask to wreak havoc for peace and fight against all kinds of strange creatures and steel weapons.

In January 1991, “Zombie Tengu” was renamed “ZOMBIE NATION” and was launched on the US version of Nintendo Red and White (NES) in North America, except for the protagonist’s appearance changed from the Japanese version of the Tengu mask to the first class of the warriors. Besides, the rest of the content is roughly the same as the Japanese version.

The scheduled release of “Baofang Tiangu & Zombie Kingdom” is the second effort of the series after 30 years. In addition to fully transplanting the contents of the two versions of “Baofang Tiangu” and “Zombie Kingdom”, it also provides two game modes, and additional convenient functions including “rewind”.
