A day of being together, having fun, doing physical activity for everyone. Together to share the festivity that links the Csi of Matera to the parish that has hosted the association’s headquarters for decades, that of San Giuseppe Artigiano. The events are included, in fact, in the program of events linked to the anniversary and will be completed by the liturgical celebration. Various sporting realities from Matera are involved for the occasion, with two events scheduled. The first is the second edition of the ecological bike-walking day “SporTiAmo” organized together with the Asd Bici Club Matera “Adriano Pedicini” company. Participation open to anyone, with any type of bike or on foot, for a morning of participation, union and fun in the streets of the northern area of the city.
Instead, meet on May 1st at 8:00 am in the square in front of the Parish of San Giuseppe Artigiano to then begin the route, which crosses viale Italia and various city streets, will lead to via delle Arti at the Santantonio Trasporti company, which has set up provision of its square for the celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by HE Monsignor Antonio Giuseppe Caiazzo, Archbishop of the Diocese of Matera-Irsina and Bishop of Tricarico and by the parish priest of the Parish of San Giuseppe Artigiano, Don Nicola Gurrado. The second appointment, which will take place at the same time as the cycling and walking cycle, will be: “Let’s have fun”.
The event will begin at 9 am and will take place in the premises kindly made available by the Santantonio Trasporti company, where two table tennis tables and two table football tables for the disabled will be positioned. Both activities will be followed by expert technicians and specialists in the sector, and all participants can be involved, and it will be enough to show up at the location to freely take part in the activity.
The table tennis courts will be managed and organized by qualified technicians from the Polisportiva Libertas Casalnuovo company of President Vincenzo Suriano; while the table football fields will have the support of national champions from the “Power Sport Basilicata FPICB” company of President Teresa Franco. The activities, sponsored by Sports and Health Basilicata, will also be cheered by the presence of the kids from the Società Cooperativa OltreL’Arte and Pegaso Sport Aias Matera.
