International Salesian Youth Games, starting in Genoa on 25 May

Four days of sport and socializing for 800 kids between 14 and 18 years old who will come from all over Italy, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Ukraine. The countdown to the International Salesian Youth Games, scheduled in Genoa from 25 to 29 May. The event, which is an official event of Genoa 2024 European Capital of Sport and which enjoys the patronage of, among others, Sports and Health, will be a great opportunity for cultural exchange, comparison, friendship and respect, in the name of the values ​​that distinguish PGS International (PGS‐I), the organization that brings together the large family of the Salesian Youth Sports Clubs (PGS) at an international level. The sporting activities will involve the entire city – in sports facilities from West to East – with particular attention paid to the peripheral neighbourhoods. The headquarters of the event will be the PGSI Village, in the spaces of the humanitarian organization “Music for Peace” a few steps from the Lantern, with areas dedicated to organization and entertainment activities.
