The main cause is the growing “acoustic environmental pollution”, especially the loud, seemingly incidental and omnipresent incidental and background noises, which put considerable strain on the ears without one noticing it.
Even 65 decibels of continuous exposure overwhelms the auditory cells. The consequences are hearing loss, sudden hearing loss, pressure in the ear, hearing hypersensitivity, hearing distortion, ringing in the ears (tinnitus) and balance disorders.
The debate about the right way to protect overloaded ears is growing. Practice proves that measurable regeneration of severely damaged hearing and balance organs is possible. The scientists are focusing on high-dose low-level laser therapy. More and more scientists are now assuming that cells absorb light and convert this light directly into cell energy. The result for patients is a clearly noticeable improvement in their suffering. Hearing hypersensitivity, hearing distortion, pressure in the ear and dizziness disappear most quickly. After just a few exposures, hearing ability improves noticeably by 10 dB or more. According to specialists, tinnitus also becomes weaker over the course of treatment and, in many cases, eventually disappears completely. However, the results of this treatment have not yet been scientifically proven, so laser treatment is still controversial.
The costs for this treatment vary and should be discussed with the doctor or therapist before starting treatment.
