PADUA. Over a thousand young doctors were queuing at the Fair this morning to take the admission test to medical specialization schools. Also this year Padua has been included among the locations designated for carrying out the national test, hosting 1139 candidates. Staggered admissions as early as 11, three hours before the start of the test.
Confirmed all the now usual health safety measures, from spacing to masks. Considerable organizational effort: all candidates will take the test – 140 questions in three and a half hours – on the computer, using terminals made available by the university.
The distribution of the scholarships in the various universities has not yet been decided, but the number at national level continues to grow. There are 17,400 places that will be assigned this year, 4,000 more than 12 months ago, more than double compared to 2019.
Two years ago 524 places were assigned in Padua, last year 813. Numbers which, “thanks” to the pandemic, are destined to increase further.
