The oncology sector that has seen the most decline in activity due to the pandemic is that of skin cancers. And this is true for both the US and Europe, so obviously also for Italy. In the United States, diagnoses for melanoma dropped by 43% between March and May 2020. And in Europe, according to Esmo, the European Society of Medical Oncology, the cancers for which the greatest decrease in diagnosis was recorded are those of the skin, excluding melanoma, which saw a -65%.
