Politico therefore underlines how the fear is growing in the democratic field that unconditional support for Israel could be dangerously counterproductive in view of the November elections, in which there is a particular risk of losing the young vote. And “the consensus on the fact that the Israel-Gaza war must end now and that Biden must assert himself over Bibi is spreading, even across the various currents”, a Democratic MP explained to the American website.
