MotoGP is preparing to compete in the French GP which will be staged at Le Mans for the 25th year in a row. The current layout has been in use since 2002, but the pole set that year in the premier category was 3 tenths slower than the best performance achieved by Moto2. Previously, the French GP was also held at Paul Ricard, Magny-Cours, Nogaro, Clermont Ferrand, Rouen, Reims and Albi.
