The Vigo Health Area has announced the appointment of new heads for the Intensive Medicine and Urology services. Dr. Pilar Posada González has been appointed as the new head of Intensive Medicine, having trained as a specialist at Chuvi and later working at the Xeral hospital for twenty years before transitioning to Cunqueiro. Dr. Posada is actively involved in research projects and frequently speaks at medical conferences.
Meanwhile, Dr. Enrique Cespon will be taking over as the head of Urology in Vigo. He completed his specialty training at the S. João clinical hospital in Porto and has since worked in various health centers before joining Chuvi in 2005. Dr. Cespon has a strong background in scientific research and professional activities, participating in technical assistance committees at the regional level and contributing to articles and book chapters in the field of Urology.
