New information about healthy teeth.

How do I care for my teeth at home? And what services does my dental practice offer? The newly published flyer “Prophylaxis” explains the essential building blocks for healthy teeth and mouth in an easy-to-understand manner. This can also prevent periodontitis. The current magazine “Periodontitis” provides detailed information about this widespread disease and offers a self-check.

“Healthy teeth and mouth also promote general health,” explains Dirk Kropp, managing director of the proDente eV initiative. “The bacteria that cause periodontitis can reach the entire body via the bloodstream and trigger other diseases there.”

Compact in DIN long format: Flyer “Prophylaxis”

Thorough oral hygiene at home, regular visits to the dentist’s office and a tooth-friendly diet: these are good prerequisites for healthy and beautiful teeth – for a lifetime. Particularly practical in the “Prophylaxis” flyer: A table summarizes the various prophylaxis services that dental practices offer. Broken down by age group, interested parties can see at a glance which services are covered by statutory health insurance companies and which are private services. Services for people in special life situations such as pregnancy or need for care as well as people with disabilities are also presented. Here’s a look at the flyer:

Informative with self-check: “Periodontitis” magazine

What is periodontitis and how does it occur? Why should patients always have them treated? The newly published magazine “Treat periodontitis – stay healthy” from proDente answers these and other questions. A self-check for periodontitis rounds off the free magazine. According to the current German oral health study, every second adult and almost two out of three younger seniors are affected by periodontitis. If left untreated, the widespread disease can lead to tooth loss. Periodontitis is the most common cause of tooth loss in people over the age of 50. Here’s a look at the magazine:
