The key figure is the founder and current president Koichi Suda, who is known as a ghost-level producer in Japan.

The former owner of Grasshopper Manufacture since 2013 is Gung Ho. This transaction was established in May this year, and the formal acquisition was completed today (22).

Suda said that after they communicated with NetEase, they reached a good consensus. The two sides also set their goal on the development of home console games. NetEase will provide funding, and Grasshopper Manufacture retains its development independence. At the same time, Grasshopper Manufacture will also receive a large number of art labor force and QA support from NetEase.

Suda Koichi also stated that in the next 10 years, there will be three works that retain the Grasshopper Manufacture style.
