The company announced the news on the occasion of the dissemination of the new Periodic Report on the Application of the Guidelines, referring to the last quarter of 2021: from October to last December, TikTok removed 14.7% more posts related to harassment and bullying, all with 0 views, that is, before they were seen by anyone. Interventions to block and remove so-called hate speech (language and violent behavior) increased by 10.9% and those linked to extremism by 16.2%; Removals for posts on self-harm, suicide and dangerous actions also increased, with + 7.7% compared to the previous quarter.
