Real cut flowers don’t last too long, so these flowery paper alternatives are a wonderful alternative so that mom can enjoy them for many years to come.

Quick and easy for a last minute Mother’s Day gift:

Take the green paper and fold it like an accordion. Fold the resulting strip together once in the middle. Apply glue to the outside and fold the two sides back together at the fold. You will receive a folded semicircle. Cut out oval petals from the pink and red paper. You need five flowers with three petals each. You can use a colored pencil to highlight the edges if you want. Attach the finished tulip flowers to the fan. You can also stick a small note with greetings or congratulations in the empty space.

There are numerous ways to make crafts with egg cartons. The paper cups are particularly suitable for flowers. How about a pretty Mother’s Day card made of pink crocuses?

This is how you can make crocuses for Mother’s Day with children:

Cut out the cups from the egg carton. Cut the cardboard a little at the edges and then form rounded petals. You will also need individual petals that you can cut out from the remaining cardboard or cups. Paint the flowers and petals with pink paint and the cotton buds with yellow. Halve the sticks. If you want to use the whole thing as a greeting card and write on the back, you should do that now before adding the flowers.
Arrange the flowers (9 pieces in the example) and glue them in place. Distribute the petals underneath the crocus flowers and to fill in the free areas. Glue sticks to the middle of the flowers (3 half sticks per crocus). Cut eight fine strips out of the green construction paper and stick them between the petals, running outwards.

Cut out petals. These don’t have to be perfectly shaped, but if they are slightly crooked and crooked they look even more interesting. Glue a small paper circle in the middle. Attach one flower to a skewer and collect the finished flowers into a bouquet. Wrap the bread paper around the bouquet like a funnel and tie a ribbon or string above the top.

Form an open funnel from a sheet of paper in a beautiful color, which will serve as wrapping paper for bouquets of flowers. Glue this together and attach it diagonally to another sheet of paper in any color. Then design the flowers:

This is how you design the flower branches:

Using a black or green marker, draw wavy lines that start inside the funnel and extend across the flat paper. Use the same marker to draw side stems on the left and right. The flowers will go there later. Using a green marker, draw small leaves alternately (also on the right and left of each of these stems). Take an ear stick and dip it in yellow paint. For the pollen, dab it onto the side stems provided. Use the other side of the cotton swab to color the petals. Dab them around the yellow center. Finally, form a loop out of a wide strip of paper and stick it onto the funnel. You can also use a ready-made bow.

Pipe cleaners for the flower stems and colored paper for the flowers and you get colorful flowers to make a pretty bouquet that will later remind mom how small her children’s hands were back then.

How to make a bouquet for Mother’s Day with children:

First you need lots of handprints in different colors. To do this, simply place the child’s hand on the paper, trace the outline and cut out. You can then use this impression as a template for the others. Then roll the prints lengthwise around a pipe cleaner for the stem and glue everything together well. Make a funnel out of paper and tie a nice ribbon around it for decoration. Gather all the flowers you received into a bouquet (you can tie them if necessary) and place them in the funnel. Write on the floral paper or attach a small card with kind words.
