It is an agreement for a world that protects health, the one just launched by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer in Davos, Switzerland. The initiative aims to provide all of Pfizer’s proprietary, high-quality medicines and vaccines at cost price in 45 low-income countries. The aim is to reduce the health inequalities that exist between many low-income countries and the rest of the world, because these medicines that can save nearly a million lives are already available in the United States and the European Union, but where poverty is part of everyday life, they are still a chimera to this day.
