Protest at the opening of the medical degree course at Unical

Cosenza – “Leone out of scholarships. We are the Unical”. These are some of the slogans chanted by about a hundred students of the University of Calabria, belonging to “Renewal is the future” and “Athena” who complain about the amount, considered excessive, of the deductions from scholarships. The students are on the bridge of the University, in front of the main hall where the minister from the University and research Maria Cristina Messa was expected on the occasion of the inauguration of the first academic year of the degree course in Medicine and Digital Technologies. The minister, unable to be present due to the national transport strike, will connect via videoconference.
