It is a group of investors that signed the 5 million euro Series A investment round for Contents, the martech (marketing technology) company founded in 2016 by the serial entrepreneur in the digital field Massimiliano Squillace and specialized in the creation of multilingual texts thanks to artificial intelligence. The lead investor of the operation is in fact the SGR Sinergia Venture Fund (synergo Capital’s VC fund) and among the co-signatories of the capital increase there are well-known names such as Fabio Cannavale with B-Heroes and Alberto Chalon with Invictus Capital.
The new liquidity, as Contents spokespersons explain, will primarily serve to consolidate the company’s presence in the content creation sector, with a precise focus on the United States and South America and the idea of looking decisively at the Asia Pacific market. The other priority is to further develop the proprietary technology platform for interpreting online trends and tracking user behavior. Already active in Spain, France, the United Kingdom and the United States, the Milanese company owes its credibility to proprietary software that uses data analysis and machine learning algorithms and Natural Language Processing modules to generate automatically, quickly and qualitatively high (according to the stakeholders) digital content on various topics and in different languages. All for the benefit of publishers, companies (to which the platform is offered in as a service mode) and e-commerce sites.
To date, the Contents.com portal boasts about 100,000 users from all over the world, 500 data sources integrated every day, something like three billion pieces of information processed per month and about three million digital stores monitored every hour.
