SANTALUCÍA Renews Commitment to Care for Older People

ST. LUCIA – Leading family protection insurer, SANTALUCÍA, has renewed its alliances with DRY, Great Friends, and Pasqual Maragall Foundation in its firm commitment to ensuring the care and well-being of older people. By positioning itself as an active ally of prominent social entities, SANTALUCÍA aims to guarantee a higher quality of life for the senior population.

For the fourth consecutive year, SANTALUCÍA, together with DRY, will continue to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and intergenerational relationships in senior volunteering. The insurer will also continue its collaboration with the NGO Great Friends, which supports seniors who feel unwanted loneliness, and the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, dedicated to promoting research to prevent Alzheimer’s and improve the quality of life of affected people, their families, and caregivers.

These collaborations align with SANTALUCÍA’s commitment to meeting the needs of a vulnerable group such as the elderly, reaffirming its vocation for the care and protection of society, and responding to the challenge of longevity. In addition, they align with the insurer’s support for the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 3 (Health and Well-being), SDG 10 (Reduction of Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships to Achieve the Goals).

Emma Marín, Corporate Director of Communication and CSR of SANTALUCÍA, stated, “At SANTALUCÍA, we remain committed, year after year, to the needs of older people. It is a crucial group today and in the future, and these alliances ensure its full integration and active participation in society and in the care they need.”
