Today, according to an internal memo obtained by MacRumors, Apple plans to add several members of its MacBook lineup to its obsolete list on April 30.
It is reported that the three products added to the obsolete product list are all from 2014, namely the 11/13-inch MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro.
In addition, although according to Apple’s internal regulations, products that are included in the obsolete product list will no longer enjoy any hardware service, but according to the information recorded in the memo, in some countries and regions, these three products will still be able to carry out battery repair services .
Among the three MacBooks included in Apple’s obsolete product list this time, the 11-inch Air can be said to be the most special one.
Currently, both the MacBook Air and the Pro have launched 13-inch products with the M1 chip, but the 11-inch Air was last updated in 2016.
The stagnant update iteration of the 11-inch MacBook Ai and the fact that the product is gradually being phased out by Apple will inevitably make people wonder whether the small-screen MacBook has been gradually abandoned by Apple.
