A partnership to promote Made in Italy in the world through Italian sport and innovation. Tomorrow, 8 May 2024, at 11.00 am in the Treaty Room of the Farnesina, the Vice President of the Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani will open the presentation of the project “Sport and Innovation Made in Italy”, an initiative that seals the start of a strategic partnership between the MAECI, Sport and Health and ICE-Agency, in collaboration with the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation (FITP), the Italian Athletics Federation (FIDAL) and the Federation Italian Swimming (FIN).

The Foro Italico in Rome will host the event between May and June three important sporting events: the BNL d’Italia Tennis Internationals, the European Athletics Championships, the IP Swimming Internationals “Trofeo Sette Colli”. Pivoting on the significant international visibility of the events, a survey will be conducted until September 2024 structured promotion and communication campaign with targeted initiatives, events, contents with the involvement of great champions.

Among others, the Minister for Sport and Youth will be present Andrea Abodi, the Presidents of the Italian Swimming Federation, Paolo Barelli, Italian Tennis and Padel Federation Angelo BinaghiItalian Athletics Federation, Stefano Mei – who collaborate with Sport and Health on the project – the President of ICE Agency Matteo You’re lame and the President of Sport and Health Marco Mezzaroma. The Olympic Champion and multiple World Swimming Champion will also participate Gregorio Paltrinierithe Olympic Champion of the 4X100 relay Lorenzo Pattathe Davis Cup captain Filippo Flyers and the world athletics champion Fiona May.
