When Square Enix revealed the existence of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII – Reunion a few weeks ago and announced that it would run on the same game engine as Final Fantasy VII: Remake, it was clear that we Will get a very different game from the original PSP. But how exactly is it different, you ask? Square has answered some of these questions.

It was revealed in a tweet that we can expect a game with improved cameras and character movements, as well as using the character models introduced in Final Fantasy VII: Remake. Otherwise, there will be a “new menu-based battle system”, as well as new background music from Takeharu Ishimoto. In the end, we’re told, just like the remake, there will be full VO coming into scenes that previously didn’t support it.

As for when Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII – Reunion will launch, all we currently know is that it will be this winter, and it will launch on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
