Startup: Utego, Axieme, Mindesk and the other new entries of the Italian Tech database

There is Utego, a fintech that has developed a platform that allows you to have all current accounts and credit cards available in a single application, and there is Axieme, which is proposed as a social insurance project. But there are also Glass To Power, Waterview, Golee, Mindesk, Comehome and Keesy: these are the 8 new startups that have entered in the Italian Tech Startup Database which debuted on 23 September last (here the explanation of the reasons and objectives). Here is more in detail who they are and how they grow.

Axieme is an insurtech startup, active in the insurance sector. Founded in 2018 by Edoardo Monaco, Marco Pollara and Matteo Gallo, in 2016 it raised 1 million from an equity crowdfunding campaign on the 200Crowd platform and from Invitalia Smart & Start.

Utego is a fintech startup which allows you to manage transactions and check cards with a single login, without having to access different internet or mobile banking platforms. Founded in 2018 by Stefano Musso and Paolo Patruno, in 2019 it closed a capital increase of 1 million euros raised by a crowdfunding campaign on 200Crowd and by Invitalia Smart & Start.

Glass To Power is a startup founded in 2016 in Milan as a spin-off of the Bicocca University that develops energy-efficient photovoltaic windows. In 2019 it raised 1 million on Crowdfundme and as a business angel. In 2020 it was chosen as one of the most promising startups by the Polytechnic of Turin and the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa.

Waterview is a startup that collects data in the meteorological field thanks to artificial intelligence technologies. Founded in 2015 by Alberto Croci, Paola Allamano and Paolo Cavagnero, in 2019 it closed an investment round of 870 thousand euros subscribed by the Progress Tech Transfer, LIFTT and I3P fund.

Golee, is a startup that aims to digitize activities of sports clubs and operators involved in the amateur world. Founded in 2018 by Felice Biancardi, in 2019 it raised 850 thousand euros in a round participated by Wylab and Trentino Sviluppo.

Mindesk is a startup founded in Bari in 2015 which develops software for CAD modeling in virtual reality (its technology is applied in various sectors, from industry to video games). In 2019 it closed an 800 thousand euro seed round participated by A11 Venture, Invitalia Ventures SGR and Primo Ventures. The company in the same period also entered into a partnership with the company Epic Games.

Comehome is a startup founded in 2017 by Michele Cesario, Daniele Chierchia, Federico Santaroni and Andrea Vitale, with the aim of becoming the easiest way to meet new people with passions and interests similar to their own. In 2019 it closed an investment round of 800 thousand euros led by the partners of Italian Angels for Growth (IAG).

Keesy is a startup active in the hospitality sector. Founded by Patrizio Donnini and based in Florence, in 2019 it raised 680 thousand euros on Mamacrowd.
