Woman kidnapped and miraculously survives murder attempt
CASTEL VOLTURNO – A 54-year-old fitness and dance teacher, Milena Santirocco, was reported missing last Sunday from Lanciano. However, she miraculously survived a kidnapping and murder attempt by two hooded men.
Santirocco managed to call her family from a bar on the outskirts of Castel Volturno, where she had entered late on Saturday evening asking to use the phone. She reassured her family that she was fine and on her way home.
The next morning, she arrived at the Lanciano police station and recounted the harrowing ordeal she had gone through. According to her account, she was kidnapped by two hooded men who then tried to kill her.
The details of Santirocco’s abduction and escape remain unclear, but authorities have launched an investigation to apprehend the suspects responsible for the kidnapping and murder attempt.
