Users on the App Store can rate each App, but Apple’s built-in App has not been given a rating option until recently, and it has caused a lot of negative reviews.
On iOS 15, one of the less noticed changes is that Apple finally opened the App Store to evaluate the original apps, such as music, stocks, computers, emails, and so on. These apps can be “deleted” on the iPhone and then downloaded again in the App Store.
After the reviews were opened, more people commented on these apps, but the general ratings were not high. For example, in the US App Store, the Podcast App only had 2 stars. Apple has not explained why this change occurred, but it is estimated that it may be to avoid developer criticism that Apple uses its monopoly to maintain its advantage.
