Baden-Württemberg is the state of civic engagement. This proves once again the great interest in the call for tenders “Committed together in BW II” from the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Integration. The state is funding 15 of 58 submitted projects with a total of around 200,000 euros. The diverse project ideas range from digital help for recruiting committed people and sustainability projects to future processes for clubs and qualification programs for committed people.
Civic engagement holds society together
“I am very pleased that we can once again support numerous creative projects in the current funding round,” said Social and Integration Minister Manne Lucha on Friday (February 2) in Stuttgart. “Civic engagement holds our diverse, open society together and thus strengthens our democracy. The funded projects show that taking responsibility is not just the job of anyone else, but a job of all of us.”
