The Soria Health Care Management (GASSO) hosted its annual welcome event for new internal medicine residents, as well as Nursing and Psychology professionals who have passed their respective exams and are joining the medical center’s specialization staff. The event also included a farewell for residents who completed their training at the hospital.
Doctors had the opportunity to choose from six specialties offered by the hospital, including Urology, Radiodiagnosis, Family and Community Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Psychiatry. The new additions to the staff include residents in Family and Community Medicine, Internal Medicine, Intensive Medicine, Urology, Radiodiagnosis, Occupational Medicine, Psychiatry, Family and Community Nursing, Mental Health, and Clinical Psychology.
Four internal resident doctors (MIR) have completed their residency, with many expressing interest in continuing to work at the Soria Health Care Management through loyalty contracts. In September, eleven specialists in Family and Community Medicine will finalize their contracts, along with 14 resident intern nurses completing their training.
The event was led by José Luis Vicente, manager of Health Care of Soria, along with other key figures in Hospital and Primary Care studies. The commitment to training and developing new medical professionals continues to be a priority for the Soria Health Care Management.
