However, it is advisable to get vaccinated against hepatitis A and typhoid, as well as carry out a booster of basic immunizations with a single inoculation of the diphtheria-tetanus-acellular pertussis and polio vaccine (dTpa IPV). It may be advisable to combine these precautions with anti-malarial prophylaxis and, once on site, the adoption of mechanical protection measures against mosquitoes and basic hygiene rules, with particular attention to the foods and drinks consumed.
