Free visits: who can do them
The initiative is organized by the Artemisia Foundation and Anmed, a member of the UAP, the union of private clinics and clinics in Italy.
The free Pap test is aimed at women aged 45 and over, while the Ca 125 blood test, useful for monitoring ovarian cancer, can be done by anyone.
For the first time, these UAP structures together will open their doors at a national level in favor of prevention and health. Too many women, due to economic difficulties or long waiting lists in public hospitals, give up check-ups, forgetting that prevention can save lives.
