In this regard, in an interview with Corriere della Sera, the actress explained: “The acute phase lasted three years, I’m not out of it, you can’t heal: you learn to manage it and not to provoke it in a way that is not incapacitating. The first two years, I who do not believe in social media, have been in a chat of women who suffer from this disease“.
After three years of ordeal, the actress has “found a Balance, which I must defend. I began to deprive myself of things that could trigger a reaction: air conditioning, heat, certain foods“.
How much does it cost to treat interstitial cystitis
Interstitial cystitis is more common in women than in men does not respond to conventional antibiotic therapy and unfortunately there is no specific treatment for the disease. In extreme cases, which do not respond to traditional treatments, it is also possible to opt for the surgery. The choice between the various treatment modalities must be made on the basis of the individual case, often combining different interventions. Exactly for this reason it is not possible to establish a priori how much it costs to treat this pathology. Depending on the patient, in fact, it is the doctor who defines the most suitable treatments.
