Windows 11 Sun Valley 2 version will speed up the pop-up speed of the right-click menu

The Windows 11 system is currently being updated regularly, and it has been reported that a new version codenamed Sun Valley 2 will be expected to solve most of the existing major problems of the new operating system, including the start menu, taskbar, etc.

As the core part of the operating system interface, the right-click menu has introduced a new design, but this will cause the performance of the right-click to be sluggish when it pops up.

In order to reduce the burden on the computer, Microsoft is reducing the number of options in the right-click menu and displaying options such as copy and paste through icons/buttons. However, these measures can only reduce part of the burden, and there will still be unnecessary delays. When the user right-clicks a file or folder in the file manager, it takes a while for the menu to pop up, and there is a delay of 1 to 2 seconds in severe cases. .

In Windows 11 Build 22572, Microsoft brought additional fixes to make the menu open faster, and many users reported a significant improvement.

A Microsoft executive described, “We’ve done some work in 22572 to improve the performance of the right-click menu, unfortunately Windows 11 updates have so far failed to address a bug where the right-click menu opens larger than its original size, There are problems with no icons, etc.”

Starting from Sun Valley 2, users can use Shift + right-click to action directly on the file explorer and desktop to trigger the “Show More Options” button, which improves the opening speed to a certain extent.
