World Emoji Day, from pregnant man to multiethnic handshakes: here are the new inclusive emoticons of 2021

by admin

On the occasion of the World Emoji Day, which is celebrated on July 17, the new emoticons candidates for the next Unicode update have been unveiled: among the proposals a pregnant man, handshakes with all the chromatic variations of the skin and a person crowned in alternative to the prince and princess. The goal is to make each emoji “gender neutral” by offering alternative options for all icons. If approved, the new emoji pack will be officially unveiled in September 2021.
