ISLAMABAD: The prices of 22 items have increased during a week. The trend of decreasing inflation rate is continuing in the country during this month. Despite this, the prices of 22 items have been increased throughout the week.

The Federal Bureau of Statistics has released a weekly inflation report. According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics, the weekly inflation rate in the country has decreased by 0.78 percent in recent weeks, while the annual inflation rate has also decreased to 34.25 percent.

According to the data released by the Federal Bureau of Statistics, the prices of 22 items increased during the week, while the prices of 11 items decreased and the prices of 18 essential items remained stable.

Statistics show that during the last one week many items including potatoes, meat and pulses have become expensive, in which the prices of aloo, energy saver, dal mash, dal mung and mutton have increased.

On the contrary, the prices of eggs, tomatoes, onions, chicken, flour, LPG, lentils and mustard oil have decreased.
