Yesterday, the reporter came to the marriage registration office of the Civil Affairs Bureau of Siming District and saw many new couples waiting in line for marriage registration according to the appointment. At the scene, many girls wore white skirts and veils; some couples specially called for photography to record their happy moments. Xiao Chen, who was waiting for the registration, told reporters, “We want to complete the sacred marriage registration on this sweet day and get a lot of luck!”
After receiving the certificate, Chi Pingping told reporters that she was very excited. “We have been in love for a long time. I work in Xiamen, and my partner works in Fuzhou. After getting the certificate, he will go back to Fuzhou to work in the afternoon. It has been very difficult for us along the way. I hope we can be sweet every year.” Chi Pingping said.
Many citizens choose to register their marriage on February 22, 2022. In this regard, the Municipal Marriage Registration Center reminds that citizens can make online appointments through the WeChat public account of “Xiamen Civil Affairs Bureau” or the “iXiamen” service platform, or go to the six district marriage registration offices to receive the number on the spot. The staff said, don’t worry about not getting the number on the day, as long as you go to the scene, they will complete the relevant procedures for the new people.
