36 folks, former homeless folks, accomplished their voluntary resocialization course of to begin their new life mission.
With a commencement ceremony, they have been awarded a certificates in resocialization actions. The course of for these folks took 21 months and was accompanied by the Street Resident Assistance System and assist from the Reconstructing my Life program of the Social Inclusion Secretariat of the Mayor’s Office of Medellín.
“From the Mayor’s Office of Medellín we really feel very fortunate to witness this second as a result of they’re individuals who have been engaged on being, to have the ability to meet once more with that one that is inside them and who takes them to new instructions of their life,” expressed Clara Vélez, undersecretary of Population Groups of the Secretariat of Social Inclusion and Family.
The course of
The course of begins with complete care, meals and bed room service. Added to this are arts programs, SENA programs, psychosocial care, training, steerage for all times tasks and strengthening of expertise by private development workshops.
To this are added talks, awareness-raising and group interventions wherein the problem of leaving the streets is prioritized, all with the accompaniment of Reconstructing my Life.

Natalia Gudiño, a former avenue dweller, mentioned, “After this, I wish to examine, end highschool and search for one other job. I wish to be a salesman, a promoter. Currently, 208 residents are in resocialization processes led by the district administration.
