Democratic Party of Korea vs. People Power Party confrontation structure

Votes are divided between former members of the National Assembly running as independents and those running as members of the New Reform Party.

[안산=뉴시스] Reporter Moon Young-ho = The bracket for the four districts of Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do for the 22nd National Assembly election has been confirmed. A total of eight candidates were registered from the People Power Party, the Democratic Party of Korea, and the New Reform Party. The Democratic Party of Korea and the People Power Party have submitted candidates in all three constituencies, former National Assembly member Hong Jang-pyo is running as an independent candidate for Ansan City, and New Reform Party candidate Lee Hye-sook has registered for Ansan Byeong. There is interest in how the votes will be divided in the two-party confrontation structure.

According to the Gyeonggi Provincial Election Commission on the 23rd, eight candidates for the 22nd National Assembly election completed their candidate registration over the two days of the 21st and 22nd.

In the last 21st National Assembly election, elections were held in Ansan region in 4 districts, including Ansan Danwon A and B and Sangnok A and E, but in this 22nd National Assembly election, the number of seats was reduced to 3 districts in Ansan City, A, B and Byeong.

In Ansan Sigap, Democratic Party candidate Yang Moon-seok and People Power Party candidate Jang Seong-min will face a decisive battle. Candidate Yang Moon-seok served as a standing member of the Korea Communications Commission and currently serves as the chairman of the Public Media Research Institute. Candidate Jang Seong-min served as a member of the 16th National Assembly. He served as a future strategic planning officer in the Presidential Secretariat.

In Ansan City, independent candidates Kim Hyun of the Democratic Party, Seo Jeong-hyeon of the People Power Party, and Hong Jang-pyo ran for office. Candidate Kim Hyun served as a proportional representative in the 19th National Assembly. Currently a special media correspondent for the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea. Candidate Seo Jeong-hyeon served as the chairman of the Ansan City Danwon-gu Party Council of the People Power Party. He is currently the representative attorney at Uidam Law Firm. Candidate Hong Jang-pyo served as a member of the 18th National Assembly.

In Ansan City, candidates Park Hae-cheol of the Democratic Party of Korea, Myeong-yeon Kim of the People Power Party, and Hye-sook Lee of the New Reform Party are awaiting the choice of Ansan citizens. Candidate Hae-cheol Park served as chairman of the LH Labor Union of the Federation of Korean Trade Unions. He is currently also a spokesperson for the Democratic Party. Candidate Myeong-yeon Kim served as a member of the National Assembly in the 19th and 20s. He is currently the chairman of the board of the Future Hope Forum, an incorporated association. Candidate Hye-Sook Lee worked as an adjunct professor at Digital Seoul Culture and Arts University. She serves as Vice Chair of the Policy Committee of the New Reform Party.
