In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old boy opened fire at a party in Sanford, Florida early Sunday morning, leaving at least ten people wounded. The Miami County Sheriff’s Office reported that the teenager was arrested shortly after the incident, thanks to a patrol being in the area.
The shooting took place at Cabana Live, a popular event venue and restaurant in Sanford, where a private party was being held. According to authorities, the young shooter got into a “verbal altercation that intensified” before firing at the crowd. Upon hearing the gunshots, deputies arrived at the scene and the crowd quickly dispersed.
Fortunately, the security personnel at Cabana Live were able to immobilize the shooter and ensure the safety of all workers at the establishment. The victims, who suffered gunshot wounds mainly in the lower extremities, were reported to be in stable condition and not in danger of losing their lives.
