The best work will be purchased and exhibited on the premises of the library
The prize competition for figurative art organized by the municipal library “Giuseppina Pallais” of Saint-Christophe is open to artists.
All techniques are allowed: drawing, painting, sculpture, graphics, installations and crafts. The fundamental requirement to participate is that the link between the community and the local culture is clearly recognizable in the proposed work.
The competition includes the pre-selection of 15 finalist works and finally the awarding of the best three. The winning work will be purchased from the library for 250 euros and exhibited. The second and third prize consists of a purchase voucher of 50 euros that can be spent by local agricultural producers. All the works will also be exhibited in an exhibition to be held on the premises of the library.
The works with the participation form and the release form, duly completed and sealed in a closed non-transparent envelope, must be delivered by hand to the library or delivered by post by 6 pm on 29 October next.
