A group of mountaineers in difficulty: the rescue teams have started

by admin

PAULARO. A consortium of Lombard mountaineers in difficulty along the north face of Monte Zermula asked for help at around 8.30 pm on Sunday 22 August.

The os arrived via a WhatsApp message sent to Lombard relatives who in turn contacted the bed and breakfast that was supposed to host them in the area.

The latter called Nue112 and Sores alerted the Alpine Rescue, Forni Avoltri station (Paularo’s team activated).

From the Casera Cason di Lanza, the managers made light signals towards the face and received a response from the climbers.

Thunderstorms and widespread showers hit the two on the face. The teams left for the mountain.
