Karachi: A strong explosion has occurred near the wall of the Election Commission Sindh office. On receiving the information about the explosion, a large contingent of police rangers surrounded the Election Commission office and the bomb disposal squad was called. It was heard. Investigative agencies reached the spot and sealed the place and collected the evidence. The preliminary report said that 500 grams of explosives were used in the blast, the explosives were homemade, and the explosives were kept in a shopping bag outside the Election Commission building. There was no rush, no damage was done, the explosion on the occasion of general elections has been declared as sabotage.

SSP South Sajid Saduzai says that the explosion was done to spread fear, there were no ball bearings in the explosive material. Earlier, there was fear on the report of the explosion near the Election Commission Sindh office in Sadar area of ​​Karachi. Panic spread and the sound of the explosion caused chaos among the police and security agencies. On the initial report of the explosion, the police said that the severity and nature of the explosion was being determined.

After some time, on the report of the explosion, the police arrived at the scene and sealed the area, while the BDS was also called immediately. SSP South Sajid Saduzai says that a timer was allegedly found along with the explosives. It could be some kind of mischief. Attempts are being made to trace the accused or accused who have the shopper. According to SSP South, the explosion took place at 8:00 pm.
