On the banks of the Guatapurí River in Valledupar, near the Villa del Rosario neighborhood, Eliecer Acuña Barrios, alias ‘Eliecer Polo’, 43 years old, was murdered by two gunshot wounds.
This man received injuries to the chest and left forearm, and was initially seriously injured, but finally died in a care center in this capital.
According to witnesses to the events, the victim was approached by two subjects, each on a motorcycle with plates, CCD- 34 G and DQM- 23 B, who after shooting him, fled the scene.
Likewise, from the Police report, it was learned that the deceased had judicial notes as being accused of the crimes of extortion, personal injury and conspiracy to commit a crime.
It should be noted that the deceased was the brother of Jaider Acuña Barrios, alias ‘Jaider Polo’, found guilty and convicted of murdering the pediatrician Alberto ‘Tico’ Aroca Saad, in an attack that occurred on August 20, 2019 in Valledupar.
