Xinhua News Agency, Tianjin, January 12 (Reporters Zhou Runjian and Zhang Jianxin) On the 12th, at the 166th press conference on Tianjin’s epidemic prevention and control, Han Jinyan, director of the Tianjin Center for Disease Control and Prevention and deputy director of the Tianjin Municipal Health Commission, introduced that as of At 14:00 on January 12, a total of 137 positive infections were reported, including 76 confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia (50 mild cases, 26 ordinary cases), 17 local new coronavirus asymptomatic infections, and 44 other cases were initially screened positive. The infected person will be notified after further verification by the clinical expert team.
As of 12:00 noon on the 12th, no local asymptomatic infection of the new coronavirus has been converted into a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia. With the exception of 2 index cases and 5 large-scale screening of social personnel, the other infected persons are all close contacts of the index case and management personnel in the closed/controlled area, and the transmission relationship is basically clear.
