Accident at work in the province of Matera, in the fields of Contrada San Basilio in Nova Siri. Giuseppe Suriano, a young farmer who was crushed by a tractor, lost his life. It happened in the early afternoon. The young man, who would have turned 41 next January 1st, was driving the vehicle, when for reasons under investigation, the vehicle would have ended up on a very steep stretch, overturning. Immediate help was given by the carabinieri and the 118 rescuers who could not but ascertain the death of the man who leaves his wife and two children.
To make the tragic discovery, his wife who, not seeing him return for lunch, had gone to look for him.
