Accident in Treviso Mare in Roncade, traffic paralyzed

Collision between a car and a motorcycle just before the A4 toll booth. Chaos in the street

RONCADE. A very long queue of cars in both directions, the Treviso sea blocked for almost an hour amidst the comings and goings of sirens and traffic policemen trying to resolve the maxi traffic jam created around 7 pm. These are the consequences of the accident which, between Ca ‘Pesaro and the Meolo-Roncade exit of the A4, involved a car and a motorcycle with two people in the saddle.

The bike is damaged on the ground knocking the two occupants to the ground. Immediate alarm went off on the road at that hour a continuous coming and going of commuters and trucks still in full working activity. Crucial then the point where the accident occurred, a narrow stretch of the Treviso sea with only two lanes and with no alternative to circumvent the obstacle.

The rescuers, despite the traffic, managed to arrive quickly and transported the two motorcyclists fortunately in stable conditions and not at risk of life. The local men remained on site, busy managing heavy vehicles and cars trying to divert, where possible, some vehicles along the old Meolo road, at least to clear up a bit of a queue trying to bypass the block.

The repercussions of the accident inevitably continued in the Venetian territory and south towards Silea.
