After two days of trial, the prosecutors managed to sentence Edwin Alexander Ibáñez Segura to 14 years in prison for the crime of rape of a minor and incapable.
The events occurred starting in January 2023, in a residential area of the district of San Pedro Perulapán, department of Cuscatlán.
According to tax investigations, Ibáñez deceived the victim and took her to his house where he raped her repeatedly. The accused was caught in flagrante delicto after a complaint.
The Cojutepeque Sentencing Court validated the abundant evidence presented by the prosecutors in the case, who managed to establish the criminal participation of the accused in the accused events.
